BIOGRAPHY
From a very young age, Isabelle Perrin has been passionate about the harp. She began her training at the Conservatoire National de Région de Nice (she gave her first public recital at the age of seventeen), then continued her studies at the Juilliard School of Music in New York before joining the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and later on the Orchestre National de France as co-principal harpist during almost 25 years.
An international soloist, Isabelle Perrin was regularly invited to play with prestigious ensembles such as the Northwest Sinfonietta (USA), the Symphony Orchestra of Baton Rouge (USA), the Coastal Symphony of Georgia (USA), the Orchestre Symphonique d’Oshawa-Durham (Canada), the National Symphony Orchestra (Ireland), the BBC Wales Orchestra (Wales), the Orchestre Symphonique de Bruxelles (Belgium), the Darwin Symphony Orchestra (Australia), the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra (Poland), the Soloists of Zagreb (Croatia), the Mariinsky Theater Orchestra (Russia), the Korean Chamber Orchestra (South Korea), Shanghai Chamber Orchestra (China), the Xiamen Symphony Orchestra (China), as well as numerous French orchestras, including the Orchestre national de France, the Orchestre national d’Ile-de-France, the Orchestre national de Lille, the Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse, the Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire, the Orchestre national de Lorraine…
Dès son plus jeune âge, Isabelle Perrin se passionne pour la harpe qu’elle étudie au Conservatoire national de région de Nice (elle donnera son premier récital à l’âge de 17 ans) puis à la Julliard School de New-York avant de devenir harpiste à l’Orchestre symphonique de San Francisco puis co-soliste à l’Orchestre national de France pendant près de vingt-cinq ans.
Sa carrière internationale l’a menée à être régulièrement invitée par des formations aussi prestigieuses que le Northwest Sinfonietta (USA), l’Orchestre Symphonique de Bâton Rouge (USA), le Coastal Symphony of Georgia (USA), l’Orchestre Symphonique d’Oshawa-Durham (Canada), le Korean Chamber Orchestra (Corée du Sud), l’Orchestre symphonique de Xiamen (Chine), Shanghai Chamber Orchestra (Chine), l’Orchestre symphonique de Darwin (Australie), le National Symphony Orchestra (Irlande), le BBC Wales Orchestra (Pays de Galles), l’Orchestre symphonique de Bruxelles (Belgique), le Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra (Pologne), les Solistes de Zagreb (Croatie), l’Orchestre de chambre de Saint Pétersbourg, Russie, ainsi qu’avec de nombreux orchestres français parmi lesquels l’Orchestre national de France, l’Orchestre national d’Ile-de-France, l’Orchestre national de Lille, l’Orchestre national du Capitol de Toulouse, l’Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire, l’Orchestre national de Lorraine ...
